Akyaka is a lovely picturesque village located in the deep end of the Gokova Bay. There are no high-rise hotels , any construction has adhered strictly to the traditional architectural style of the region, known as Ula-Mugla. Numerous balconies, intricately arranged pan-tiled roofs and delicately carved fretwork shutters give the houses that thumble down the hillside towards the beach their distinctive appeal.

Activities in and around Akyaka :

Gokova plain is a conservation area and hosts lots of bird species. You can start your bird watching tours in the plain, just 50 meters from Villa Ikiz.

Gokova beach is ideal for water sports like kite surfing , wind surfing, sea kayaking.

It is absolutely to recommend to have a boat or sea kayak trip on the unspoilt Azmak river. Azmak, with its flora and fauna will be something for you always to remember.
Moreover, you can easily attend the daily outdoor activities like rafting, horse riding, canyoning, biking in and around Akyaka.

Daily tours to antique sites like Ephesus, Dalyan (Caunos), Pamukkale, Aphrodisias can be arranged on request.
