In a lovely setting on the edge of Akyaka, this little group of charming villas and apartments stand close to the river amidst eucalyptus glades and citrus groves, backed by pine-forested peaks. They enjoy a peaceful location yet the centre of Akyaka - and the sea - are just 10 minutes away by foot, as are the handful of delightful restaurants which are set on the river just upstream. The sociable layout of Tomsan Villas and Okaliptus Apartments makes the accommodation an ideal choice for families. Tomsan Villas comprise: Villas Gul, Ayse and Zanbak, which are grouped around the swimming pool, and Villa Sevda, set separately just to the other side of the Okaliptus Apartments. The villa interiors vary in size.

The Tomsan family who own and run the villas are hospitable and generate a friendly atmosphere. They often organise a barbecue by the Okaliptus pool. If you wish to sample some Turkish home cooking without leaving your apartment or villa, they will even arrange dinner on request, served on your own terrace or balcony. Alternatively, you can choose from a selection of snacks, and evening meals available at the small snack bar by the pool of the Okaliptus. Breakfast is also served here.

The Okaliptus Apartments offer the same warm welcome as the original Tomsan Villas, but with the added advantages of more modern accommodation. Being built in the citrus grove between the original villas and Villa Sevda, they also enjoy lovely views to the river delta or the sea. The apartments were built in the traditional ‘Ula-Mugla' style and there are 11 apartments on three floors, each comprising a living room with an attractive stone fireplace and a divan bed, a well-equipped open plan kitchen, a modern shower room and either one or two bedrooms. Six apartments have spacious balconies with sea views overlooking the orchards, and three have terraces opening on to the restaurant or large swimming pool with its separate children's section. Guests at Tomsan Villas and Okaliptus Apartments may use the main swimming pools and children's pools of both properties.

At the pretty riverside area at the bottom of the orchard you will find a perfect spot to enjoy a picnic or relax in one of the hammocks provided. Here you will also find Muammer Tomsan's wooden boat moored, which he uses to run highly enjoyable trips along the unspoilt river delta, a treat for children and adults alike (payable locally).
